DESIGNER TIP #1: LAYOUT

Place the largest furniture items on opposite walls. These units (crib and dresser) should provide good visual balance; the crib can be placed against an accent painted wall or window to become the focal point of the design. For this nursery, the Solid White crib is placed against the bold Grey wall soften by Pink accents and decal. The result is awesome!

DESIGNER TIP #2: PROPORTION

Add a hutch to gain vertical dimension if you have high ceilings, or use large furniture items without over-crowding the floor space. Smaller accessories can look good but larger wall art keeps a good scale balance between the design elements.
